HPP & HPD files Converter for HP Laserjet Scanner files Open Viewer
We can open and convert the .HPP and .HPD files so you can open them on a modern Windows PC or Apple Mac and access the data for editing. Thousands of documents or scanned images are locked away in this proprietary HP format which only existed for around 1995 to 2001. Hewlet Packard introduced HPP Image Files and HPD Laserjet Document Files for storing scanned documents and photographs. The files allowed editing in the HP Document Manager. The most popular versions of this product are: 1.0, 1.2 and 2.0. Some people have tried to use the HotDocs player for openng the HPP files, but, to our knowledge without success.
A typical enquiry from a customer showing the problems with these files is below...
"At first, I thought that hpd. files should be easy to open, and that the computers have been updated over the time with new software, so when attempt to open them the errors happen within the registry; which means that windows forgets how to open them. I have tried to download the HotDocs 2009 player to see if I can open the files,and also I downloaded the FileCure from Paretologic but it was unsuccessful."

RADAR iZ Technology Data Recovery
We have recently recovered BWAV and WAV audio wave files and projects from RADAR 24 systems from iZ which uses BEOS operating system. The system had some data corruption from possible problem with the SCSI chain terminations or connectors to the SCSI hard Drive which resulted in some data XORing 0x04 with the project names and disk info files. We recovered the music files to CD for re-importing to RADAR.

Converting Music Sampler Files to Wav(e) Audio
Many audio enthusiasts recorded their music sample files to CD, MO (Magneto Optical Disks MOD) or floppy disks during the 80's and 90's. Popular disks were from Akai, Emu, Roland, and Kurzweil samplers. Nowadays many want to use these sample files on their Mac or Windows Computers and we have successfully extracted the music wave files to Mac or Windows CDs.

Merging or Combining two files to single good working copy of the file
Sometimes you are fortunate enough to have two copies of the same file / data stored on different media disks eg. floppy, CD, hard drives, tapes, or from two different sources. They each have errors or bad sectors. We can copy the good sectors from the files and merge them into one single file so that 1 good file is produced from the 2 bad files.

File Conversions
We convert Supercalc Files to Excel and from Word Perfect convert to MS Microsoft Word including files on different formats eg. 5.25" inch floppy disks.

Word Perfect convert to MS Microsoft Word. WordPerfect file extensions for document files is .wpd. Older versions of WordPerfect used file extensions .wp, .wp7, .wp6, .wp5, .wp4.

Extract Files from PCDocSe document Management System
This system is often thought to use old BTrieve database back end and often saved files to MODs (Magneto Optical Disks). The disk cannot be understood by a regular PC or Mac computer however we have devised a system to extract the files along with file name, date and unique serial numbers to enable them to be placed on a Windows Hard Disk or Network Staorage Device (NAS), or simply transferred files to CD or DVD. The end result was the owner regained possession and control of their legacy data.

Typical Windows Error Messages for data recovery
Error Copying File or Folder Cannot Create or Replace, Access is Denied. Make Sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.
The File or Folder is not accessible. Access is denied.
